RECYCLING YOUR SENSOTEQ PRODUCTS
To ensure the proper disposal of our products, including sensors, gateways, and other peripherals, we strongly recommend following environmentally sound methods such as reuse of parts or whole products, and recycling of products, components, and/or materials. To facilitate this process, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (EU Customers): Customers in the European Union should be aware that our products bear a WEEE label, signifying that they should not be disposed of with household waste. To enable recovery and recycling, please deposit products at an appropriate facility in accordance with local regulations.
Battery Disposal: The Kappa X sensor is equipped with a Li-SOCI2 (lithium-based) battery. It is crucial to recycle the sensor according to local regulations to ensure the proper disposal of the battery and the device as a whole.
Gateway Recycling: The Gateway can be recycled as electronic waste in accordance with local regulations. Please follow the guidelines provided by your local authorities to responsibly dispose of the Gateway.
Product Returns for Recycling
To streamline the recycling process, Sensoteq offers a convenient product return program. Customers reaching the end of the product lifecycle can submit a request to return their used sensors, gateways, or peripherals for recycling.
